Black Lives Matter.

Summit Performance Indianapolis stands with Black Americans and all Indigenous and other People of Color. We detest and denounce racism in all of its explicit and implicit forms. Summit’s values are to increase the representation of our country’s diverse population on and behind the stage, promote equity in the arts, connect with our community, and inspire community-wide dialogue around pertinent social issues, and we will continue our current efforts toward these aims. However, we recognized that we have not done enough, and acknowledge that racism and the horrific legacy of slavery continue to produce devastating consequences. We are seeking literature, education, and calls to action to further our commitment toward this critical cause.
